About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience treating a broad range of psychological concerns. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium in Palo Alto, California. I have extensive experience working in community mental health, university counseling and VA medical settings, including Fenway Health in Boston, MA, the San Francisco Community Health Center (formerly known as the Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center) in San Francisco, and at Mills College Counseling and Psychological Services in Oakland. I completed my pre-doctoral training at the Suffolk University Counseling Center and my post-doctoral training at Fenway Health and at the Counseling & Wellness Center at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. I have also served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty member at the University of San Francisco.

I am dedicated to supporting traditionally underserved populations, including people of color and the queer community.  I am especially interested in identity development, trauma and resilience, supervision and training, social and racial justice, LGBTQ+ issues, and multicultural counseling.

I have received specialized training in:

  • Evidenced-based treatment (CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing) 

  • Mindfulness-based interventions and practice 

  • Psychoanalytic psychotherapy
